Swarm: This ability would come helpful if you are used to stalling out your enemies with Bug-Type attacks (boost is x1.5 towards bug-attacks). But since it takes a while if you're going to make a stall scizor to get you under 1/3 health, and considering if you may put Leftovers on it, Technician is the way to go.

Technician: This ability comes VERY useful if you are into priority striking or pursuit-ing your enemies. This ability boosts moves with a base power of 60 or lower x1.5. This ability would be the #1 choice if you are to attack head on.

    - Swords Dance
    - Quick Attack
    - Bullet Punch
    - Roost / Pursuit
    Item: Leftovers
    Ability: Technician
EVs and Nature: 252 Hp / 252 Atk / 6 Speed; Adamant Nature

Here you basically want to switch into something that Scizor can resist, especially against Metagross and Bronzong. What you do is basically set up Swords Dance and wait for your oppurtunity to strike. This type of Scizor relies on Swords Dance to effectively boost your Priority moves into OHKO moves. When you are all set up with your Swords Dances, you can basically sweep. Bullet Punch is incredible due to its STAB (the move is acquired through the move-relearner on Platinum), and Quick Attack for those pesky fire-types that try to get in Scizor's way. Here, you have a choice: Pursuit, or Roost. Roost lets you stay in a bit more and keep sweeping, whilst Pursuit WILL OHKO ANYTHING that tries to retreat.

    Swords Dance Sweeper:
    - Swords Dance
    - Iron Head
    - BRick Break
    - X-Scissor
    Item: Life Orb
    Ability: Swarm
EVs and Nature: 252 Attack, 252 Speed, 6 HP; Jolly or Adamant Nature

This Scizor is basically a straightborward sweeper. Set up Swords Dance, and then basically your moveset does the rest. X-Scissor for those pesky Psychic-Types and Dark-Types (ESPECIALLY UMBREON). Earthquake is to remove any poke that would try to wall: rock, steel, etc. Iron Head is for Ice-Types and Rock-Types that need to be GONE.

    Choice Band
    - U-Turn
    - Pursuit
    - Quick Attack
    - Bullet Punch
    Item: Choice Band
    Ability: Technician / Swarm
EVs and Nature: 4 HP / 252 Atk / 252 Spd; Adamant Nature

If you aren't a fan of setting Swords Dance up, this is the moveset to use. Quick Attack with CB Boost really packs a punch, and so does Bullet Punch. Pursuit clobbers ANYTHING that retreats, especially Uxies and whatnot. U-Turn would be used as a hit and run, if you aren't comefortable against something that may scare you and you have this in play, U-Turn is the most wise move to use.

    Countering Scizor:
Countering Scizor is fairly easy. The only one you would have a MAJOR problem with is the Priority Striker. DO NOT, AND I REPEAT, DO NOT LET IT SET UP THOSE SWORDS DANCES! If you do, don't try to switch pokes. Pursuit can kill, and the other priority moves aren't fun as well. What you might want to do is bring in a sure-shot, something that WILL kill it in a flamethrower. The best suggestion here is Heatran, granted that it is NOT slower than Scizor and can take what ever is throw from Scizor. Plus Heatran is the only Poke that can completely wall the Priority Striking Scizor.
